Description

Serial ATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) is a data bus which has originally been developed for exchanging data between a processor and a mass storage device such as a hard disk or optical drive. Not only does SATA provide enhanced performance and reliability, it also allows system integration for added convenience, which are some of the many reasons why it has gained so much ground since being introduced in 2001.
Hama’s Solution
A SATA host adapter is integrated into most modern laptop and desktop computers though for older models an adapter is required to convert the 5.25 power connection to a SATA. The Hama SATA 150/300 adapter is perfect for doing just that, allowing fast speed 150 or 300 megabites communication with external devices for efficient data transfer at reduced cable bulk, so there is no need for large unnecessary wires to be left lying around.
