"Smart" air purifier: For a healthy room climate
We breathe in 10,000 litres of air per day – and our airways do not discriminate in respect of what we inhale via the air. Allergens such as house dust and pet hair, bacteria, viruses, etc., are present in the air and reduce indoor air quality. However, there is an easy way to combat poor air quality in the home or office. With its powerful three-stage filtration, our "Smart" air purifier filters out all unwanted pollutants. This results in a healthy room climate for greater well-being – not just for allergy sufferers or asthmatics. The highlight: The smart air purifier can be integrated into the WiFi network enabling it to be operated by app and using your voice, or connected with other smart home devices.
Air filter eliminates 99.95% of all pollutants
Unfortunately, nearly all of us spend far too much time indoors and don’t go outside to get some fresh air. This affects our airways. An air purifier is no substitute for a walk in the fresh air, but it does ensure your indoor air is healthy. Your health and well-being are thereby improved, as is your concentration. With its powerful three-stage filtration system that includes a HEPA filter, the air purifier eliminates 99.95% of the smallest pollutants such as pollen, viruses, bacteria, dust and pet hair. The activated carbon filter ensures that the air not only is pure, but also smells pure, as it filters odours. This is practical for cat lovers, smokers and keen amateur cooks. With an air purification rate of 250 m3/h, the air purifier can be used in rooms measuring up to 65 m2, and is therefore ideally suited for the home and office.
Providing fresh air from anywhere: App control
Before you set off on your way to work, you close all the windows to prevent cold shock (in winter) or heat stroke (in summer) when you return. The pollutants present in the air are immensely pleased about this. They have a field day in the closed rooms, and welcome us back with poor air. The smart air purifier offers the convenience of being able to switch it on remotely using the app; so when you get home, you can breathe freely within your own four walls. Allergy sufferers and asthmatics benefit from this, as the air purifier also tackles allergens such as house dust and pet hair. The air purifier can also be controlled by voice command using Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa.
Air quality always in view: Indoor air analysis
How do you actually know when the air purifier has done its job and the ideal air quality has been reached? The air purifier is equipped with an air sensor: It constantly analyses the indoor air and automatically sets the necessary fan speed. You can track the current air quality in real time using the Hama Smart Home app. Therefore, the device eliminates the contaminant particles completely independently. You don’t have to worry about what is present in the air, and can work creatively and with a high level of motivation in a healthy indoor climate, fully relax with a book, or celebrate a birthday with friends and relatives.
Healthy air when sleeping
Air quality has a big influence on our sleep behaviour. A healthy room climate in the bedroom and the children’s room is therefore hugely important. When using the air purifier in sleep mode, you simply turn down the fan to a pleasant noise level of 30 dB, and switch off the display lighting to prevent an unnecessary light source from disturbing your sleep. You wake up bright and fresh, with no headache or blocked nose, and can start the day happier.
The easy way to a better room climate
The smart way to better air quality is completely uncomplicated; integration in the WiFi network is completed within just a few minutes. The world of the smart home is then open to you. Using scenes and automations, you can connect diverse smart home products with one another – from small gimmicks through to meaningful links that assist you and make everyday life easier. For example: With a door and window contact, the smart home air purifier can switch off automatically when the window is opened, or the work of the air purifier can be supported with a smart heating control or fan.
Great news
All Hama Smart Home products can now be controlled not only with Alexa and Google Assistant, but also with the Siri voice assistant.
1. Create a scene
The Siri Shortcuts function allows previously created smart scenes to be controlled. To do this, create a corresponding scene as usual that you want to activate via Siri. This process works unchanged.
2. Open Siri Shortcuts
On the overview page with all the programmed scenes, you will find the new "Siri Shortcut" button at the bottom right. Tap it.
3. Select the scene you want
Now a page opens where you have the option to add your scenes to a Siri Shortcut. To do this, press the plus sign next to the corresponding scene.
4. Create a shortcut
Now you can create the corresponding shortcut. To do this, define which command in the wording is to be used to start this scene. For example, you can turn your living room into a home cinema with just one short command.
Additional tip: To control individual devices via Siri, simply create short scenes that are only responsible for switching on, off or even switching over the individual device and add them to Siri accordingly. "Fan on", "Lights off", "Hey Siri, take care of the lights" - there are no limits to your imagination! In the video, our professional explains how easy it is to set up voice assistants in the app.
