If you would like to extend your iPhone battery life, it’s worth first identifying the apps with a high energy usage. To do this, go into the Settings and select “Battery” under “General”. To protect your iPhone battery, your motto when it comes to apps with a high power consumption and push notifications should be: Less is more. If your iPhone battery is draining quickly, you should regularly get rid of apps that you hardly use.
Battery-saving display settings
To always have your display set to precisely the brightness you need, it’s recommended you set it to auto brightness – this not only helps your eyes but also your iPhone rechargeable battery. How practical that your iPhone has an ambient light sensor, which controls the display brightness automatically based on its surroundings.
First, go into the settings to “Accessibility”, then to “Display and Text Size”, and then “Auto-brightness”.
Switch off iPhone location services

Deactivate Apple background app refresh
If it often happens that your iPhone suddenly drains quickly, it might be worth taking a look at the background refresh for your apps.
To do this, go into the settings on your iPhone, click on “General” and then on “Background app refresh”. Determine for each app individually whether or not this should obtain new content in the background. Especially for apps that you use less often, there isn’t usually anything to stop you deactivating background app refresh.
Deactivate Siri
Siri accompanies many of us in our everyday lives and it’s hard to imagine life without it – helpful support, although it uses energy: The voice assistant requires a great deal of power from iPhone batteries. To protect your iPhone battery, it’s worth giving the voice assistant (and yourself) a little rest now and then.
To do this, open the settings and click on “Siri & Search”. There you can now easily switch off “Listen for ‘Hey Siri’”.
Calibrate the iPhone battery
Before you use our tips, it’s recommended to calibrate the iPhone battery to get an idea of the battery capacity. To do this, drain your iPhone battery until the iPhone switches itself off. iOS 15 update: Battery draining fast
It’s not uncommon for the iPhone battery to be drained more quickly than it used to be after a major update to iOS 15. Give your iPhone a couple of days until all of the exciting features are up to date. However, if you’re having serious problems, you shouldn’t hesitate to contact a professional mobile phone service.
