What does it mean?

The capacity of rechargeable batteries is given in milliampere-hours (mAh). So if a battery is rated at 1,000 mAh, it can provide 1,000 mA of power for one hour, or 200 mA for five hours. After that it is spent and the voltage drops to zero.

How many mAh do I need?

To charge a smartphone, a Power Pack with a capacity of 2,600 mAh or 3,000 mAh will suffice. Many tablets require 4,000–5,000 mAh for a charge. So high-capacity Power Packs holding charges of 5,200 mAh or more are perfect for use with tablets or for holding multiple smartphone charges. First of all, check the owner’s manual for your terminal device to find out the capacity of its battery. Just add another 20% to the capacity to find the perfect Power Pack for you.
