The smart alarm siren with extra features
Our extra-loud alarm system will, of course, scare off unwanted visitors. But what makes the alarm special is its ‘smart’ addition: The world of the smart home in all its diversity is opened up to you. And the best thing is that you don’t have to lay any cables in your home. Our WLAN alarm siren: ‘Made simple’.
The easy way to a WiFi-controlled home
The alarm siren establishes a direct connection to the router without an additional hub. No building measures or additional devices are required, saving you time and money. It takes only a matter of minutes to integrate your alarm into the WLAN, and then can immerse yourself in your individual programming via app and voice control.
Burglar deterrent with extra-loud alarm signal
With the extra-loud 97.4-dB alarm signal, any burglars are guaranteed to abandon their attempts and leave your premises quick as a flash – after all, a sound level of 97.4 dB can be heard by your neighbours, your neighbours’ neighbours, and by acquaintances in the next street. For comparison: Sound levels over 110 dB become very uncomfortable for our ears, for example, at a concert, or the sound of a power saw – and as you know, the latter can be heard across all gardens in the summer. The loud acoustic alarm signal is supplemented by a red flashing light.
The smart alarm system can also ring
Our alarm siren not only sounds the alarm, but can also ring: Ten different ring tones are available. The smart alarm can thus be used in a variety of ways with other smart home products. Examples:
- As a shop entry bell, in combination with a door contact
- To signal that the washing machine has finished, in combination with a WLAN socket with integrated consumption measurement.
- For people with physical disabilities and the elderly: The alarm siren reacts to a defined voice command and thus draws attention to an emergency.
Best compatibility in your smart home network
All Hama Smart Home products can be connected with one other, and can be controlled using the Hama Smart Solution app or with your voice. Smart home products from other manufacturers that are compatible with Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant can also be combined with the Hama products. It makes no difference whether you are an iOS fan or an Android fan – the app works on both operating systems.
The WLAN alarm listens to you and to the app
With voice control via Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant, you can activate individual functions of the alarm siren using just a voice command. App control using the Hama Smart Solution app is likewise possible. It offers many possibilities for controlling your WLAN alarm smartly; for example, in combination with a motion detector, or door or window contact. You get information via the app whether you’re at home or away.
Alarm for a better room climate
Our well-being within our own four walls is determined to a large extent by the room climate. If the rooms we spend most time in – namely, the living room, home office and bedroom – are too hot or too cold, or are poorly ventilated, this can lead to headaches and disturbed sleep. But how do you keep an eye on the ideal room climate? Temperature and humidity sensors are built into the smart home alarm system. You define your ideal values in the app, and when the temperature and humidity in your home exceed or fall below these values, you receive a message or your selected ring tone sounds. In this way, you always manage to ensure fresh air flow, and adjust the heating, at the right time.
Great news
All Hama Smart Home products can now be controlled not only with Alexa and Google Assistant, but also with the Siri voice assistant.
1. Create a scene
The Siri Shortcuts function allows previously created smart scenes to be controlled. To do this, create a corresponding scene as usual that you want to activate via Siri. This process works unchanged.
2. Open Siri Shortcuts
On the overview page with all the programmed scenes, you will find the new "Siri Shortcut" button at the bottom right. Tap it.
3. Select the scene you want
Now a page opens where you have the option to add your scenes to a Siri Shortcut. To do this, press the plus sign next to the corresponding scene.
4. Create a shortcut
Now you can create the corresponding shortcut. To do this, define which command in the wording is to be used to start this scene. For example, you can turn your living room into a home cinema with just one short command.
Additional tip: To control individual devices via Siri, simply create short scenes that are only responsible for switching on, off or even switching over the individual device and add them to Siri accordingly. "Fan on", "Lights off", "Hey Siri, take care of the lights" - there are no limits to your imagination! In the video, our professional explains how easy it is to set up voice assistants in the app.
Create scenes and automations
Get the most out of your smart home products by creating scenes and automations.
By linking the smart alarm siren with other smart home products, you can use particularly practical functions. This is possible with our app. Simple everyday manual actions can be perfectly automated with smart home systems.
Scenes and automations make your everyday life so much more pleasant and convenient:
Scenarios make life better and easier
‘Alarm sensor’ scenario: Use this scenario to detect unwanted intruders! Fit a door/window contact to your garage door and enjoy peace of mind. If the door opens in the night, a loud 97.4-dB alarm signal is triggered, and the intruder is scared off.
Automations in combinations with other products
Avoid mould formation using the alarm siren! The siren’s temperature or humidity sensor detects high humidity and triggers constant ringing. The ringing stops as soon as a window with a fitted door/window contact is opened. In this way, you can avoid excess humidity in your home.
